I’ve gone quiet on my blogs before, but never for quite this long! Here’s the story: as much as I love what I do for a living, the extended spell away from it during October and November of 2009 made it possible for me to hear the call of another, wholly different, and creative leap.

It’s actually been calling to me for some time, this leap, but I haven’t let myself acknowledge the essentialness of it. Nor do I want to look back on this phase of my life and wonder, “what if?”

Besides, if I listen to my doubts telling me to simmer down and stay put, then I really have no business assisting others with the balancing of doubts and dreams, pragmatism and adventure either now or in the future. That’s my take, and I’m sure that others would agree.

If you’re curious about what this creative leap involves, dang, so am I. I don’t have it all mapped out. I don’t understand it entirely. I’ve simply reached a point where I’m choosing to dedicate myself to doing so.

Feel free to watch as my leap unfolds as it unfolds on my other blog, Flying Ready. In a couple of weeks all of the content published in this blog will be re-homed over there. In a couple of months, this URL will be going the way of the Passenger Pigeon.

Should you mosy over to the other blog feel equally free to share the big, hairy scary lovely aspirations that keep calling to you. Like anyone deliberately venturing out on a limb, it would be nice to know I”m not alone.

Many thanks for your time and attention in the past few months. Cheers.
